I was listening to a podcast where super bowl champ Ed Reed shared what helped his team win the Super Bowl that year. For whatever reason, his teammates had gotten so entitled they wouldn't clean up after themselves in the locker room. He yelled across the locker room, "your locker is two feet from the garbage can. You cut the athletic tape off your ankles and wrist and instead of you throwing it in the garbage can where do you throw it, on the floor. Listen guys, it's the little things man. We ain't winning if y'all don't do the little things". You can imagine, they started doing the little things and they won the Super Bowl that year.

I'm not sure what your Super Bowl win is but I would like to encourage you to do the little things to help get you there. First, clarify your win. Take a moment to think about things you would like to do better. Maybe you would like to have deeper and better friendships or relationships. Maybe you would like to be a better mother or father. Maybe you would like to get in the best shape of your life. Maybe you would like to be a better leader. Or maybe, just maybe you would like to begin using your gifts and talents. It won't be enough to say it or write it down. It's going to take work and it is going to be the little things that help make it happen. Doing the little things will help with your discipline, consistency and will ultimately help you win your life's super bowl. Don't forget and don't ignore... the little things.

Talk Soon,

Tony
