Intimacy

When we think of the word intimacy there's so many things that come to mind. But if we really think about it, intimacy really means closeness. Now, think about the people in your life, how close would you say you are with them? Would you say there's room for you to grow closer? One of the many reasons we don't experience the level of closeness we desire is because intimacy requires vulnerability and being vulnerable is scary. But how will we ever experience the beauty of authentic relationships if we allow fear to create a barrier with those we desire closeness with.

Intimacy is a gift we are all meant to experience.
