How To Pray
Day-1
You may have heard this religious word before... “PRAYER” and thought, how in the world do I do that? You maybe new to faith or still trying to figure out exactly how to pray or if you’d like to give it a try. Or you may have noticed you only tend to pray when prayer is all you have. But prayer is more than that. Prayer is how we communicate to and with God. It’s also how we grow a deeper relationship with God.
So, how do we pray? we start with RECOGNITION.
Jesus suggested our prayer begin with recognition, because in our humanity, we are tempted to place ourselves equal to God. Recognition is a reminder that God is god and we are not.

Matthew 6:9-10
this then is how you should pray our father in heaven hallowed be your name
“our father” - a father not a distant uninvolved god.
“hallowed” - greatly honored
If it’s your first time praying it can feel a little weird but that’s okay. find time today to talk to your Heavenly Father.

Day-2
RELIANCE

Similar to our relationship with people, it‘s difficult to grow a relationship if you cannot rely on them. to rely is to release control. releasing control is difficult because the more you can control the less you have to rely. You’ve experienced major disappointment when you’ve relied on others. and now the disappointment you’ve received from people, is what you expect to receive from God.
But reliance is a reminder of daily surrender to God’s will and God’s plan for your life. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t share our desires with God. But only as a reminder of how much we need him. Before talking to god today think about this...
How would my life change if I relied on God a little more?

Matthew 6:10
your kingdom come your will be done,

Day-3
RECOGNITION
Recognition is about recognizing that God’s will is greater than our will, we resign and align our kingdom to God’s Kingdom. God’s plan and will matters more than our plans and our will. Scary I know but totally worth it. What would it look like for you to begin your day asking god this question...
How can I be a part of your plan today?
To grow your relationship with God it requires communication. In many ways, the level of your communication is a reflection of your commitment to your relationship.
So keep talking to God. It's worth it.
